Dental Clinic

Overview: This project was realised in 2017-2018. My client was looking for a digital marketing campaign to promote a small Dental Clinic. The main project goal was to highlight the services provided and preformed by the practice.

Role: Graphic designer | Motion Graphic Designer | Web Designer

Toolkit: Adobe Illustrator, After Effect, Photoshop | HTML, CSS

• Doctor Avatar

The first action taken was the development of a series of video animations.

The videos have been customised thanks to the creation of an Avatar, designed on the Doctor’s features. Overall, the graphic style aims at capturing the patient’s attention without using disturbing or painful images. Therefore, each concept has been shown through colourful and pleasant infographics.

• Motion Graphics Animation

Two series of videos have been created: the first one, called “Services”, which explains each treatment in details; another one, called “FAQ”, answers the most common questions regarding dentistry.

• Project Goals

The primary goal of this website was to give brief information about:

  • Doctor and clinic’s values

  • All the services provided

  • Where the practice is located

  • How to contact them.

A one-page website was built, where the main section consists of an images gallery to showcase each service, through friendly icons.

• Project Goals

A variety of graphic elements have been designed for Facebook (pictures, posts, cover images, services and events). The graphic style has been kept consistent throughout the entire project.

• Challenge

Designing for the Medical Industry was considerably challenging. Understanding each dentistry treatment step by step represented the main obstacle. Luckily, I was able to establish an excellent relationship with my client, the doctor himself, who was of great help.

The second big difficulty to sort out was to turn those information into something fun and nice to watch for our users. That’s why we decided to go for friendly, almost cartoonish infographics, and a bright colour palette.

• Lesson learned

This was one of the earliest jobs I took as Motion Graphic Designer. Here, I additionally had to take care of the many static illustrations before moving forward to the animation itself. Even though the workload was massive, I had the opportunity to deeply learn how to technically build an item for the animation. From document size and colour profile to the layers setting.
